LDH Reagents

LdH reagents are reagents used in the measurement or analysis of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). LDH is an enzyme found in many tissues in the body, including the heart, liver, muscles, and red blood cells. It plays a role in cellular respiration by catalyzing the conversion of lactate to pyruvate and back. LDH levels in the blood may rise in response to tissue damage or disease.

Reagents used in LDH assays typically include substrates, coenzymes, buffers, and other chemicals necessary for the enzymatic reaction to occur and for the measurement of LDH activity or concentration. These reagents can vary depending on the specific assay method being used, such as spectrophotometric assays, kinetic assays, or immunoassays.

It’s important to note that the exact composition of LDH reagents can vary depending on the manufacturer and the specific assay protocol being followed.
